Media-Vox is always on the lookout for passionate, experienced, contract instructional designers to join our team as project needs arise. Our instructional designers create, deliver, and oversee custom training solutions for employee growth and project success in the construction industry.


Our ideal candidate must have a foundational understanding of instructional design models that produce impactful, measurable results. They must be able to foster a collaborative, productive learning environment that captures the learner’s attention and helps them meet our clients’ desired outcomes.


  1. Maximize learning through the use of core instructional design principles and theories.

  2. Create immersive educational experiences for the learners that are engaging, while remaining within the parameters agreed upon with the client.

  3. Attend and/or review recorded meetings with subject matter experts (SMEs) and research training content provided by Media-Vox and through self-directed online research.

  4. Articulate problem and vision statements, and write course purposes and learning objectives. 

  5. Write engaging, relevant, and meaningful training content (e.g., online course scripts, outlines for instructor-led training) to achieve learning objectives and desired outcomes.

  6. Search for images, icons, and creative ways to present training content for maximum participation and retention. (Online content will be developed in Articulate Storyline or Rise. ILT content is often developed in PowerPoint.)

  7. Collaborate with developers to communicate training design, make necessary edits, and relay feedback and requests from the client. 

  8. Provide an exceptional client and project experience by communicating clearly and promptly.

  9. Regularly document project progress in ClickUp (our project management tool).

  10. Regularly communicate with your manager regarding project progress to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget. 

  11. Employ thoughtfulness and attention to detail when reviewing research, writing content, and developing training solutions.
